It’s a matter of overcoming my fear
We were at Crete and I was totally negative of going at Balos cause you have to drive a long dirt road along sharp cliffs. I am terrified of driving along sheer cliffs. All the locals we ve met discouraged us from going there. The man from the car rental company clearly said don't go there with this car, if something happens to the car you re not insured. On the other hand Joy insisted that, since it's December, we have one great chance to see Balos without tourists and Ron was thirsty for adventure. We drove there, walked down the hill and then we saw it. Speechless. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. I was so awed that I payed none attention to the sheer cliffs on our way back.
